"For over 20 years, the Daily Hampshire Gazette's Bag Day, in partnership with local businesses, has kicked-off the holiday shopping season. Until the pandemic, a custom shopping bag was designed and distributed to readers (and the public) to claim their discounts. And while we pivoted to a glossy newspaper insert, the spirit of Bag Day® lives on- encouraging visitor's to shop Northampton and support the local economy, retailers, restaurants and others. The change also allowed participating businesses to customize their holiday offerings as needed.A full list of BagDay® discounts will be available in a printed insert in the Thursday, Nov. 16 issue of the Daily Hampshire Gazette.
