Welcome to the North West Pensioners’ Association Open Conference! Get ready for a day filled with discussion, debate, and opportunities to connect with activists in the pensioners' movement. Join us on Fri, Oct 25, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Methodist Central Hall, Manchester, for a day dedicated to some of the main issues of concern to older people. We'll have Caroline Bedale, Keep Our NHS Public, speaking on the NHS, Gilda Peterson, End Social Care Disgrace, speaking on Social Care, Ruth London, founder of Fuel Poverty Action, speaking on Fuel Poverty, and Samantha Haggart, Leeds Older People’s Forum, speaking on Access to IT/AI. There'll be plenty of opportunities for questions and discussion and coffee/tea breaks in the morning and afternoon and lunch from 1pm to 2pm. Don't miss out on this chance to meet up and plan for the challenges ahead.
