About this Event
Join us for our first Manchester Startup Weekend ending with a Lyan's Den pitch event . ? ✊?
We are proud to be hosting our kick off event for this three day weekend in Manchester kicking off with our fireside chat where we share black founders, creators, executives' journeys, and retrospectives with our community to inform, educate and aspire.
We kick off our this years Manchester Startup weekend Lyan's Den with a fireside chat with the topic "NORTH STAR". Come learn and ask questions about how these amazing indiviuals built minded their business and embarked on their journey.
Black Seed is a community led by Black founders, for Black founders. Rooted in Brixton, with global ambition.
Black founders are over mentored and under funded. In the past ten years, 0.24% of funding went to black founders in the UK. That’s why we are building the first seed fund and community dedicated to Black founders in Europe, as well as a co-working space rooted in the Brixton community.
You bring ambition, we’ll bring connections. You don’t need to have a startup yet - come to us with your ideas and we will hit up the right people. We are looking for exciting tech-enabled businesses with great potential to scale, create jobs, and serve untapped markets.
