At The Vault Theatre at Lynn Arts, 25 Exchange Street, Lynn.
Two young women from the country arrive in Paris eager to become a part of fashionable society. When they snub a pair of potential suitors, however, the rejected paramours conceive of a cunning scheme to teach the pretentious pussycats a lesson they’ll never forget.
Before long a double act of highflying influencers appears on the scene to lead the ladies -- and the audience -- in a merry dance that will leave everyone exposed in the end.
Molière’s classical comedy poking fun at poseurs and social climbers of every stripe remains as fresh, funny and relevant today as when it was first performed over three hundred years ago.
