Sheffield, this is big. A brand-new night is landing, and we’re launching it in serious style. Welcome to NORTH.
Some of you will remember the legendary North n South nights. Well, this is my “nod” to those great parties: A brand-new night bringing the biggest names to Sheffield four times a year. And we’re kicking things off with an absolute monster.
For our first event, we’re going straight in at the deep end with UK techno royalty DAVE ANGEL (R&S / Rotation Records). If you know, you know. And if you’re unfamiliar, we guarantee that if you’ve been near a dancefloor in the last 30 years, you’ve moved to his music.
He’s an absolute pioneer.
This man shaped the UK techno scene and hasn’t touched down in Sheffield since 2012, making this his first gig in the steel city for 13 years! And he’s back with new fire. Fresh releases on Rekids and a bag full of deep, driving techno ready to shake the room.
Expect a set that’s slick, tight, and relentless. From Detroit-inspired rollers to futuristic funk and head-spinning intensity, Dave takes crowds on a proper journey.
And if that’s not enough, we’ve got Jamie Anderson (Flash Records, Berlin) in the building. Long-time collaborator, underground don, and a master at bringing that groove.
It’s guaranteed to be a proper Berlin session, so we’re taking over the whole of Hagglers for this one.
Mezzanine → Balearic sunset vibes from 7pm to set the scene.
Bar → Sheffield’s finest selectors keeping it eclectic and unexpected.
The Attic → Jackin’ techno all night long with Dave Angel & Jamie Anderson, powered by a custom-built sound system built to rattle your ribcage.
This is a rare one. A pure heads-down, all-in kinda night. A chance to experience true pioneers, up close, in an intimate venue built for big moments. If you love your techno, you do not want to miss this.
