North Pole Party at Hilldale

Kick off the most magical season at Hilldale. Jingle all the way to our North Pole Party with festive activities for all ages to enjoy, concluding with our tree lighting.

🦌 Reindeer Encounters

Sit in Santa's sleigh and strike a pose with one of Santa's reindeer on The Green near L.L. Bean. Two additional reindeer will be grazing near bartaco.

🧸 Spread Holiday Cheer

Bring joy to the Boys & Girls Club of Dane County during their toy drive. Please consider donating new, unwrapped toys for children of all ages; click here to learn more about their holiday drives. Drop your donation with their team at the event.

✍ Kids' Crafts and Letters to Santa

• Visit Paper Source to write a letter to Santa and create crafts.

❄ Spirit of the Season

• Keep an eye out for Santa from 3-6 PM as he strolls through Hilldale.
• Enjoy local musicians’ classic holiday tunes all evening.
• Snap a photo with Nutcracker dancers from the Monona Academy of Dance outside of Kendra Scott. 20% of sales during the event will be donated to the Academy.
• Find the Selfie Stand near the 30-foot tree by Café Hollander and capture your perfect holiday selfie.

☕ Winter Warmers

• Stay toasty with complimentary Crescendo hot chocolate and toppings bars (one cup per person, while supplies last).
• Satisfy your sweet tooth with toasty s’mores (while supplies last).
• Sample mini churro bites and hot cocoa at bartaco (while supplies last).

🎄 Tree Lighting Spectacular

Follow Santa to The Plaza and gather ’round just before 6 PM as Savanna Brito, meteorologist for WISC-TV, welcomes Santa to count down to the magical lighting of our 30-foot tree to officially kick off the holiday season!
