About this Event
Are you an HDV fleet operator in the Highlands or Moray who has already started the transition to EVs or is considering it? We want to hear from you. The Highland Council is hosting a 4-hour workshop to bring together local HDV operators to discuss the real challenges facing the sector and help shape regional infrastructure and skills priorities. This is a genuine consultation, not a presentation. Your expertise and honest input will directly influence where future charging infrastructure is developed and which training and support programmes are prioritised across the region.
What We'll Cover
- The current state of fleet electrification across the region.
- Key challenges: infrastructure, costs, workforce, and operations.
- Skills gaps and training needs in the HDV sector.
- Where charging infrastructure would make the biggest difference.
- Opportunities for collaboration between operators.
What You'll Get
- Direct input into regional infrastructure planning decisions.
- Networking with other operators facing similar challenges.
- Early insight into funding and support opportunities.
- A summary report of workshop findings.
