Join us on one of our favorite trails. This is a family-friendly trail that is mostly paved on the climb to the top. Baby-wearing and kid-friendly terrain. Hike location: 7th St just South of Thunderbird
Trail name: North Mountain Trail 44, 101 connector from Visitor's Center
Approximate distance: 3 mi
Difficulty level: Moderate
Description of hike: This is a mostly paved hike along the service road at North Mountain. Trail 101 (connector to 44 from Visitor's Center) is dirt and mostly even/easy. Trail 44 is a fairly steep paved road to the top of the mountain.

How to get there: From 7th St, enter the visitor's center just a bit south of Thunderbird
Where to park: Park anywhere in the parking lot.
Where to meet: Meet to the left of the Visitor's Center, near the bathrooms and trailhead sign.
Please remember to wear proper sun protection and comfortable hiking shoes. Bring plenty of water and snacks. There are bathrooms and water at the Visitor's Center.
