North Kensington Library Film Club: LGBTQ+ Pride

This month we are marking LGBTQ+ Pride with a film that tells the story of gay and lesbian activists, who started a group to raise money to support the striking miners and their families, who were affected by the British Miners’ Strike in the summer of 1984. Join us to watch the extraordinary story of how two communities form a surprising and ultimately triumphant partnership in an unprecedented act of political solidarity.

We will have tea, coffee and popcorn available. The film is around two hours long and there will be time afterwards for a chat.
