Our season comes full circle, bringing us back to Bach, who stood on the shoulders of great German composers like Franz Tunder, Johann Schop, and Dieterich Buxtehude. Accompanied by Baroque string ensemble and organ, we trace that lineage in a program that showcases choral masterworks of Bach’s predecessors, culminating in his own glorious grand motet for double choir Fürchte dich nicht.
