North East LGBTQIA+ Heritage Network
About this Event
Curious Arts invites you to the second North East LGBTQIA+ Heritage Network gathering. The day is open to people from the region’s museums, archives, libraries, universities and collections and to LGBTQIA+ organisations and freelancers, who do or are interested in queer heritage work.
This year the focus is on queer collecting and archiving. There will be talks and presentations, a carousel of breakout group activities and conversations and a chance to network and share learning about all things queer heritage.
Speakers include:

Roni Guetta (Queer Heritage South) will talk about their approach to creating a community digital archive, the exhibitions and events that have grown out of and helped grow it and partnership working with the heritage and cultural sector on the south coast.
