Event Summary

You're invited to a free NHS event, funded by Healthwatch Hillingdon and the London Borough of Hillingdon. Join us for a day filled with insightful health information, interactive workshops, and opportunities to engage with our incredible healthcare teams.

You'll leave the day with information and opportunities to be healthier than ever before, find resources to support your well-being, tips and tricks for a balanced diet and ways to get active this autumn.

What to expect:

• Learn about Diabetes: Support in managing a healthy lifestyle while understanding and navigating the challenges of diabetes to ensure your well-being.
• Access Health Checks: Receive essential health checks, including blood pressure, weight/height measurements and more, ensuring you stay on top of your well-being.
• Engage with Our Amazing Primary Care Network Teams and Charity Partners: Meet our dedicated professionals, including Clinical Pharmacists, Social Prescribing Link Workers, Health and Well-being coaches, and others, who are here to support your health journey.
• Find Well-being and Healthy Living Support: Stay well by discovering various well-being and healthy living resources available in your local community.

NHS Event

Welcoming patients from North Connect Primary Care Network (PCN). North Connect is a family of practices that includes:

• Acre Surgery
• Acrefield Surgery
• Carepoint Practice
• Devonshire Lodge Practice
• Eastbury Surgery
• Harefield Practice
• Mountwood Surgery

A PCN is like a close-knit team of healthcare providers. They work together to ensure you receive the best possible care and support, making your health journey smoother and more convenient.

Everyone is welcome to attend - tickets aren't required.

How to Get There:

• By tube: We are a 10 minute walk from Northwood tube station on the Metropolitan Line (zone 6). Turn left out of the tube station then right at the traffic lights. Keep walking ahead until the second mini roundabout where you turn right onto the High Street. Emmanuel is on the left about 150 meters down.
• By car: Sat Nav: HA6 1AS. We are about 15 minutes from the M25 (J17 or 18) and from the M1 (J5). We have a small front and back car park which include three spaces allocated to disabled drivers. Parking in the roads around the church is free except for 1-2pm weekdays.
• By bus: There is a bus stop (Route 282 and H11) just outside the church.
