North Carolina World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims

Last year, 1,686 people left for a destination in North Carolina and never made it home.

On the annual World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims, we honor those killed and injured on our roads and call for leaders to step up to make the changes we know can prevent such tragedies in the future.

This event is co-hosted by the NC Families for Safe Streets (ncsafestreets.com), Vision Zero Charlotte, and the Institute for Transportation Research and Education at NC State University.
