Everyday, decisions are made that impact you, your farm, and our local food system. Yet whether it's at the state or national level, too often missing from these important conversations are the voices of small, family farmers like you. Since 1978, Community Alliance with Family Farmers (CAFF) has worked to give a voice to these farmers. But in order to do this, we need to hear from you! Join us for a casual gathering of local North Bay farmers where we'll listen to the biggest challenges facing your farm as well as your vision for a more viable, equitable and sustainable future. No need to be an expert, so long as you know your own farm. The feedback we receive from this event will shape CAFF's 2022 agenda, informing our conversations with lawmakers, our policy positions, and our programs.
Food and drinks will be provided. Reusable dinnerware from home cuts down on waste!
This event is free, but we strongly encourage RSVPs: www.actionnetwork.org/events/pitchforks-policy-farmers-only
This event includes an outdoor gathering space, with adequate room for any and all covid precautions. Please bring a mask.
This event is only open to those directly working in agriculture: farmers, farm managers, farmworkers, etc. For everyone else, please stay tuned for another CAFF event on November 9th where we'll dig into similar topics and hear from our wider community.
