Come hear about how and why North Atlantic right whales use the Brevard County coast as calving and nursery grounds. We are off to a fantastic start this season with 18 new right whale babies so far. We also have numerous sightings of humpback whales close to shore. Come to this free event, which includes a presentation about Right whales and optional volunteer training. The volunteer training allows you to be on our list of people we call when we have whales in the area. You can come and watch the whales with us and, most importantly, help explain to the general public what’s going on and why it’s so important to call in every potential whale sighting.
