Nordic Style Open Water Dip

Join us for a refreshing open water dip and lakeside woodfired sauna in a safe, supervised setting. Whether you're a seasoned swimmer or trying it for the first time, it’s a great way to boost your mood, build confidence and enjoy nature. Come along for a splash and a chat – all welcome!

What to Expect
Your session will begin with a short safety briefing before anyone enters the water. You’ll then take part in a supported open water dip, followed by time to warm up and unwind in the lakeside sauna.

This session is for ages 18+ only.

Please note that priority is given to Rushcliffe residents. Participants from outside the area are welcome, though an additional charge may apply.

Only one booking is permitted per person. Additional bookings may be cancelled to ensure fairness.

All bookings are non-refundable.

Additional Information:

No specific clothing is required so please wear whatever you feel comfortable in. If you have gloves, socks, or water shoes, please bring them along to the session if possible.

There is limited changing facilities with one single changing container. It’s advised to arrive in clothing you want to wear in the water then bring loose clothing to get changed in to after. Any valuables can be stored in the Whole Health office whilst the session takes place.

Please note: access to the water is via a gently sloping ramp. The Whole Health team are experienced in helping people with limited mobility get into the lake including wheelchair and mobility aid users.

Anyone with severe mobility issues can access the car park beside the lake by prior arrangement if needed. If you require this, please contact the Whole Health team 48 hours prior to the session directly on 07813 965956 or [email protected].

Directions: When you visit Whole Health Swim Village, you will need to park at Racecourse Road car park, right at the end of Racecourse Road. Follow signs for Colwick Hall, or use postcode NG2 4BH. The car park is a little further on, straight ahead through a yellow barrier gate after you pass Colwick Hall on your right. You’ll then need to walk around the lake to find us. Go through the yellow gate at the top of the car park, and follow the signs to West Lake with our little apple logo on. This will take you along a tarmac path for about 500m. You will reach another yellow gate, and see the swim village in front of you.
