For the first time in history, we are excited to welcome you to the Nordic Folkboat Gold Cup in Tallinn, Estonia! The Nordic Folkboat Gold Cup is the unofficial World Championship for the popular boat class. In 2023, the Estonian Kalev Yacht Club and the Estonian Folkboat Flotilla will host the event and expect 70 folkboats from Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, the UK, and the US to race in Tallinn Bay.
Established in 1948, Kalev Yacht Club is a leading club in Estonia and was the center of the 1980 Olympic Games. Located at the mouth of the Pirita River and protected from winds and waves, the club’s harbor serves as the official sailors’ village. Program activities will take place across various venues in Tallinn to get to know the city and the culture of this sea nation.
