Nonviolence is at the heart of Rising Tide and is crucial to building a mass movement. Training in Nonviolent Direct Action (NVDA) is vital for everybody involved in Rising Tide, not just those thinking of being arrested.
This interactive workshop will help you understand why nonviolence is so important, what we mean by NVDA, how everyone can help keep our actions nonviolent, how to interact with police and the role of civil disobedience in Rising Tide 🌊
