NON-MANUFACTURERS: Phase 2 - Leadership Development Program - Cohort 1

Phase 2 is the next step in the AZ MEP Leadership Development Program. This advanced course will enhance the new supervisor’s learning journey with 7 new topics that are a continuation from the first LDP. This course is designed to help expand the knowledge new leaders need when taking on a new or advanced role within their companies. The cohort setting with multiple manufacturing companies leads to gaining a broader perspective on common issues that attendees may be facing.

This program will consist of 7 essential classes for new leaders. The course will be delivered in 4 hour increments, every two weeks, August 2024 - October, 2024. The topics are listed below with a course description and class dates available on the flyer at www.azmep.com/events

• Session 1: Lean Leadership (August 7th)
• Session 2: Emotional Intelligence (August 20th)
• Session 3: Communication with Influence & Persuasion for Leaders (September 4th)
• Session 4: Effective Decision Making (September 17th)
• Session 5: Learning to Lead with Accountability (October 2nd)
• Session 6: Employee Engagement (October 14th)
• Session 7: Innovative Thinking (October 30th)

Who Should Attend:

Employees who are leading others (new line or cell leads, supervisors, engineers) or anyone aspiring to advance their leadership skills.
