Are you a parent or carer of a child (0-5 years)?nom! Children is a FREE community healthy eating and cooking program designed to provide parents and carers with the tools to create a positive eating experience for the whole family.
Run over 4 weeks, each 2.5-hour session includes one hour of learning through fun, interactive activities and discussion, one hour of hands-on cooking using quick, tasty and low-cost recipes.
Learn important skills including:
• How to choose healthy foods for the whole family
• Healthy eating for infants and children
• Tips for making mealtimes less stressful
• How to read food labels and pack healthy snacks and lunchboxes safely
• How to plan and feed the family on a budget
Take home free recipe books, shopping bag, Let’s Feed the Family parent guide and a kid’s healthy eating plate.
