When Children in Foster Care are removed from a home, they are given a trash bag and about 3 minutes to gather their beloved belongings. Comfortcases.org is a Global Non Profit’s mission to END TRASH BAGS and GIVE Comfort Cases.
What are Comfort Cases?
These brand new back packs are filled with books, pjs, blankets- pretty much everything a child may need that is experiencing foster care for the first time.
Wherever Comfortcases.org goes to pack these back packs- that is where they are distributed.
We will meet at ASHÈ Arts and Cultural Center to pack 300 comfort cases!
Lesli Harris, Council Member from District B will be speaking.
Lunch will be provided immediately following the party catered by Ruby Slipper Cafe.
