NOLA's Whisky Project Six: Mac-Talla Whisky September
About this Event
NOLA'S WHISKY PROJECT - MAC-TALLA
Saturday 27 September | 1:00pm – 3:00pm | NOLA Adelaide
NOLA's Whisky Project is back, and this time we're taking it to Islay with the team from Spier and Wright, Adelaide's own whisky merchants.
Mac-Talla, Gaelic for "echo", is Islay whisky the way it used to be made. Produced by Morrison Scotch Whisky Distillers, a family with over 70 years in the Scotch trade, these are single malts bottled at 46%+ with no chill filtration and natural colour.
Over two hours, the Spier and Wright team will guide you through five expressions, from fresh unpeated coastal drams to deep Islay smoke that earns every bit of its reputation. NOLA's kitchen will keep you fed along the way, and one lucky attendee will walk home with a bottle of Mac-Talla.
Whether you know Mac-Talla already or this is your first introduction, you'll leave with a new favourite. Seats are limited. Grab your ticket before they're gone.
