DEI XHRIST is a performer from Manchester, NH, USA. She has performed for over two decades as a soloist and ensemble player in jazz, ambient, no-wave, and avant garde. DISTRORTING A WOODPECKER is mercurial harsh noise based out of the forests of New Hampshire in the US. Using multiple pedalboards filled with guitar pedals, vintage microphones, cassette tapes, noise synths, a Japanese koto, and a 10 string guitar, Distorting a Woodpecker combines these sound sources to create disorienting and punishing harsh noise. KRYPTOGEN RUNDFUNK is an experimental sound project started in 2002 in St. Petersburg, Russia and currently based in Amstelveen, The Netherlands. The project works with analogue electronics, radio waves, electromagnetic interference and found sounds, creating sophisticated aural images, often exploring extreme areas of the sonic spectrum.
