NOENEMIES was first launched in 2014 as an attempt to answer a persistent question from Dr Vincent Harding: Where are the songs for today’s movements?
NOENEMIES is a space to re-engage with the transformative power of collective song- to experience how singing together can impact our spirits as individuals, connect us in purpose as a community, and harness our power as a crowd.
This is movement choir practice singers of all types, and non-singers alike. It is a chance to learn songs that will be deployed during upcoming actions and public witness. It is a space where we raise our voices together.
Please note: if you are deathly afraid of singing in public, you are not alone! In fact, you are most especially needed and welcome! Come ready to lose your fear.
