L’exposition NOCTURNÆ portée par SubLab, en collaboration avec UMI, explore la réalité des parcours nocturnes à travers le regard et l’expérience de six artistes. Le projet s’ancre dans une thématique universelle et urgente : la place des femmes dans l’espace public la nuit.
La nuit est à la fois un territoire d’émancipation et de menace, un moment où se mêlent liberté et insécurité, excitation et vigilance. NOCTURNÆ s’attache à capturer ces dualités à travers des œuvres où se croisent poésie urbaine, photographie, broderie, illustration et installations lumineuses.

The exhibition NOCTURNÆ carried by SubLab, in collaboration with UMI, explores the reality of nocturnal journeys through the eyes and experience of six artists. The project is rooted in a universal and urgent theme: the place of women in public space at night.
The night is both a territory of emancipation and of threat, a time when freedom and insecurity, excitement and vigilance, come together. NOCTURNÆ aims to capture these dualities through works that combine urban poetry, photography, embroidery, illustration and light installations.

De tentoonstelling NOCTURNÆ van SubLab, in samenwerking met UMI, verkent de realiteit van nachtelijke reizen door de ogen en ervaring van zes kunstenaars. Het project is geworteld in een universeel en urgent thema: de plaats van vrouwen in de openbare ruimte bij nacht.
De nacht is zowel een gebied van emancipatie als van bedreiging, een tijd waarin vrijheid en onzekerheid, opwinding en waakzaamheid samenkomen. NOCTURNÆ wil deze dualiteiten vastleggen door middel van werken die stedelijke poëzie, fotografie, borduurwerk, illustratie en lichtinstallaties combineren.
