We are going to experiment with a different venue this time.We realize that the Wild Asparagus Ball is happening later in the evening, however, for those folks who would like to get some last minute practice in or who may not be going to the ball we thought why not?
It could also be an opportunity for some individual attention as well.
Lindy, Balboa, Charleston, 6 count, and 8 count swing.
Please bring dance shoes and/or shoes that will not scuff a wood floor. Also, if you think that you might be thirsty please bring a water bottle as well.
We do not consider this a dance but instead a safe place to work on what you have learned and/or what you would like to learn. With that in mind this will be a shared space so we will need to be flexible with music, etc.
Also, the long term idea behind the NoCo Swing Dance Practica Experiment is that it is not instructor lead but community led. So if you created your own cool move, learned a cool move in the past or see something on YouTube that you would like to share please "bring it".
We will be charging $5 to defray the cost of the dance studio and as always additional donations are accepted. The space is limited so if you plan on coming please send us an email to [email protected] to reserve your spot.
No partner is ever needed.
