We are so excited to be trying something new.NoCo Swing Dance will be having our first ever Balboa Brunch. We are even more excited that Colorado's own national and international Balboa and Lindy Hop instructor Heather Ballew will be teaching both a Beyond Beginner and Beginner Balboa classes.
If you know the basics of Balboa already, please join us for the beyond beginner class. If you are new to Balboa, we would like to encourage you to join our beginner class.
Oh, and if you would like to learn the basics of Balboa prior to this amazing event consider coming to the Autumn Whirl Dance Festival on Saturday, September 27th in Fort Collins. Sami and Ron will be teaching a 1-hour beginner Balboa class along with many other classes and styles of dance to choose from.
Our Balboa Brunch will be located at Avo's in Old Town Fort Collins.
The schedule for the event will be as follows:
1. Beyond Beginner Balboa Class from 9-10:00am.
2. Beginner Balboa class from 10:00-11:00am.
3. Dancing to Jeremy Mohney and is Band from 11:00am-2:00pm.
The cost of the event will be:
$10 for the Beyond Beginner Balboa Class.
$5 for the Beginner Balboa Class.
$10 for the dance. If you have a student ID, you can get into the dance for just $5.
Brunch will be served until noon and then Avo's regular menu scoots in after that.
Come join us for some good cheer, a mimosa or brewmosa and, well, great music, food and company.
