Noche de Arte is a weekly arts activation and exhibition that breaks down barriers between artist and viewer and creates opportunities for conversation and community.
Join us for an evening of art activation in the Gallery Lounge of InterContinental Miami Hotel, featuring a local Miami artist creating their latest work. Each month, a new artist is showcased, offering visitors an expansive introduction to our vibrant city's diverse array of artistry.
About the Artist:
Silvana Soriano, originally from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, is a visual artist, art teacher, and illustrator currently residing in Miami, Florida. Her artistic journey has taken her to various solo and group exhibitions across Brazil, Spain, France, the USA, and Cuba.
In 2022, Soriano contributed to the group exhibition "Women Pulling at the Threads of Social Discourse" at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Westport. She was also honored with the Teacher Travel Grant - The Ellies Oolite Art. Additionally, she participated in residencies at Ratcliffe Art + Design Incubator (2020/2021), La Maldita Estampa Printshop Barcelona, and Project Art in Miami (2023). Beyond exhibitions and residencies, Soriano's creates book illustrations, covering a diverse range from children's literature to poetry. She is also involved in onl!ne printmaking magazine publishing.
