NOCCA Dance Department presents its 2024 Winter Dance Concert, Habitat!

The Louisiana swamplands have always been filled with unique ecosystems, extraordinary societies, habitats, wildlife and folklore. For centuries, native tribes, immigrants and ancient creatures have coexisted within the vast wetlands and habitats of Louisiana.

Habitat explores our nature's landscapes through the powerful vehicle of dance. Through this series of choreographic works we explore the rich terrains and waters, the creatures that live within them, the spirits that float above them, and the people who move through them.

Join us for a wonderful evening of dance, featuring choreographic works by the NOCCA dance faculty performed by the young dance artists of the NOCCA Dance department.
