NOBODY OWNS THE DANDELIONS
About this Event
NOBODY OWNS THE DANDELIONS
On Wednesday 4 November, artist Mayssa Fattouh invites a small group to sit together on cushions in the lower hall of Hotel Pol & Grace. Over two hours she will prepare zhourat, a traditional Lebanese infusion of wild herbs and flowers, and share it with everyone in the room. While it is passed around, she will read texts and poems and open a conversation about hospitality: what it means to welcome someone, and how we care for each other and for the land.
No preparation or experience needed. Just come, sit, listen and join in as much as you like.
About Mayssa Fattouh
Mayssa’s work brings people together around food, collaboration and play, to question everyday consumption and make space for memory, the mourning of the land, and care.
