About this Event

🌾 Farm Day Dress-Up

Join us for the Mayor’s Summer Reading Club (MSRC) — a fun, interactive program designed to promote early literacy, vocabulary development, and a love of reading for children ages birth through eight and their families.

Step into farm life for the day! Children are encouraged to dress up as farmers and explore stories and activities centered around agriculture, food, and nature. This session blends imaginative play with early learning in a fun, engaging way.

Families will enjoy:
✨ Farm-themed interactive read-aloud sessions
✨ Literacy-based games and pretend play
✨ Hands-on learning experiences
✨ Opportunities for family engagement and community connection

The Mayor’s Summer Reading Club is a collaborative initiative between the City of Atlanta, GEEARS, PNC, United Way, and community partners working together to strengthen literacy outcomes for Atlanta’s youngest learners.

Let’s read, learn, and grow—farm style! 🌱🚜
