After five months of touring the country, Asheville songwriter, Noah Proudfoot, returns home to release his third studio album, ‘Born To Fly,’ at Ayurprana Listening Room. The album, which was recorded both in Costa Rica and in Asheville, reflects his most creative and expressive body of work yet. With songs that range from retro-soul, to indie-rock and acoustic-roots, each track is world unto itself, inviting listeners into the soundscape of his imagination. Joined by a full band, the release show will feature local Asheville musicians, and an opening performance from longtime friend and musical companion, Samara Jade. The night promises to be one of celebration, welcoming the long-awaited album which was made possible by the support of Noah’s community via a successful Kickstarter campaign.Noah Proudfoot Bio:

With a sound that blends folk, soul, and electronic elements, Noah's music takes listeners on a journey through the soundscapes of his imagination- exploring themes of unity, self-transformation, and redemption. Having shared stages with international acts such as Matisyahu, Mose, Yaima, Gone Gone Beyond, and Satsang, his music continues to reach an ever-expanding audience, while staying dedicated to sharing messages of hope and strength through the universal language of music.
Samara Jade Bio:
Samara Jade is a forest‑frolicking folk troubadour, multi-instrumentalist, and musical seamstress who threads together earthy grooves, soul-soaked vocals, and thought-provoking lyrics into a genre affectionately dubbed “Philosopholk.” A natural-born music-maker, Samara’s first instrument was a set of pots and pans as a toddler—and she’s been making joyful noise ever since on guitars, mandolins and anything she can get her nimble hands on. Drawing inspiration from jazz, blues, Appalachian roots, Broadway musicals, and the wild whispers of nature, her music dances between play and depth—offering listeners both heartfelt medicine and clever mischief.
Whether singing about compost or transformation, grief or gratitude, frogs or fungi, Samara invites all into a shared experience that is both grounding and elevating. Her music isn’t just entertainment—it’s soul-fertilizing, heart-healing, culture-composting, and community-rooting work.
