Noaa Reinecker returns to the Art Boutiki! With a dark, wry, and lyrical sensibility as well as crisp guitar playing, he writes strikingly honest, catchy, and thoughtful songs redolent of Paul Simon, Gillian Welch, Neil Young, Eliot Smith, and the Wood Brothers. As a sideman, Noaa has worked with artists such as country singer/songwriter Margo Cilker, grammy-nominated bassist Michael Manring, Austin psych queen Betty Benedeadly, and Minnesota songwriters Feeding Leroy. The sound of Heart Matter starts with soothing, lush vocals and the entrancing, mythical waves of vibraphone, weaving compositions that are both virtuosic and uplifting. Co-led by vocalist Amy D and vibraphonist Dillon Vado, the band returns to Art Boutiki to support Noaa Reinecker.
