No Style is My Style?

Zari Gallery is pleased to present “No Style is My Style?”, an unusual exhibition with various techniques and styles by Ufuk Uyanik!

Coming from a cartoonist background, his art alludes to elements of popular culture, traditional life, popular and modern painting, lyricism, humour and irony, which all combine in dynamic harmony.

He borrows images from masters and masterpieces contexts and set universal standards of individuality and collective visual memory.

By combining self-elected images from varying periods and cultural connections, with a

dissimilar original dialect, he achieves extraordinary artistic richness with an innovative

and humorous contemporary impact.

Uyanik’s art unites Art and Humour and fosters discourse between mediums, artistic styles and expressions, temporalities, and cultures. This exhibition not only complements and celebrates the creative selection of the gallery but also the contemporary artist being showcased.
