There are no outsiders here. Welcome to the “No Strangers Club” where people come together to take time to unplug and find real human connection.

Take a breather from the 24-hour news cycle and doom-scrolling. Securely check your phone at the door. Enjoy soothing music in a sacred, low-stim space, with opportunities to connect with yourself and others through art and poetry. Read and drink herbal tea, or join a story sharing game, or meet new friends while you experiment with arts and crafts. Unwind and make space for creativity and reflection in an intentionally tech-free environment.

About the No Strangers Club at Fairmount Presbyterian Church

FPC is committed to being a “third place” where people of all or no faiths can connect and see the humanity in one another. In a culture that is increasingly anxious, angry, and transactional, FPC seeks to offer space for healing and connection. We believe that in order to do meaningful justice work, we must slow down enough to de-stranger the other. The No Strangers Club is an informal, compassionate, and accessible environment where folx can find real belonging. It is a non-religious gathering for anyone who has a hunger for intentional, low-tech, meaningful connection. We believe creating space for people to practice the truth that we belong to one another is sacred. So, don’t be a stranger. Come hang out at the least exclusive club in the world.
