Hey Y’all, On June 14th Trump is going to roll tanks down Constitution Avenue to show everybody what a big, tough guy he is and use our military to try to intimidate us. We’re putting on a counter-parade, because New Orleans knows what to do with bullies!
Let’s pull out everything the right wing hates and bring our sassy, satirical, and snarky best to mock the man who would be king!
Parade rolls at 10am. Starting from the open field at Mandeville and Decatur (2400 block of Decatur) Route: LEFT on N.Peters, LEFT on Franklin, LEFT on Royal, LEFT on Spain, RIGHT on Decatur. CROSS Elysian Fields at Decatur, RIGHT on Frenchman.
Ending at Washington Square park.
Sign up your krewe, make a new sub-krewe for the day, open up the costume trunk, and make a new protest sign! If you don’t have a sub-krewe, just come join the second line, or dust off those jazz fest chairs and come cheer us on!
