We’re fighting against corruption, cruelty, and chaos. And for a democracy that works for everyone.

This rally will be the biggest yet — an awesome display of people power. History has shown us that mass mobilization is vital to block authoritarianism from taking hold.

So, if you’ve joined us before, we need you back. If you’re new to the resistance, this is your moment.

Join the ACLU of Massachusetts, Indivisible Mass Coalition, Mass 50501, and partners from across the pro-democracy and pro-worker movement to take people power to the next level.

Here’s how March 28 will unfold:

Show our power: Proudly display your amazing signs, flags (no poles, please!), and your most creative protest attire as you make your way to Boston Common from 1-2 p.m. Let’s show the world what patriotism really looks like by filling the sidewalks – our Pathways to Power – with unforgettable images of the resistance rising. Consider getting off the T a few stops early to extend this visibility walk!

Build our power: Join us on Boston Common from 2-4 p.m. for inspiring speakers and great music. Make time to explore the dozens of advocacy groups that will be tabling, offering ways for you to get engaged to do important work in communities across Massachusetts.

Power a democracy that works for all: Commit to taking one action each week to advance freedom, equality, justice, and dignity for all.

After all, our movement is not only about protesting what’s wrong — but about daring to build something better. Each action on its own is small. Together, they can drive real change.

So, take the “We the Powerful Pledge” and commit to one pro-democracy action each week. Some ideas to get started:

• Join a watch group to protect our immigrant neighbors.
• Host a potluck and invite three neighbors you don’t yet know.
• Read (or re-read!) the Bill of Rights.
• Sign up as a poll worker for the midterm elections.
• Organize a fundraiser for your public library.
• Volunteer with your favorite advocacy group.
• Support independent journalism that holds power to account.
• Create art that makes a statement.
• Call your elected officials — and then call them again to hold them accountable.
• Participate in a vigil outside the ICE facility in Burlington.
• Run for your school board or town council.
• Donate to a local food pantry.
• Hold a protest sign on a freeway overpass.
• Amplify pro-democracy voices on social media.

Together, we can do this — We the Powerful.

All No Kings events adhere to a shared commitment to nonviolent protest and community safety. Organizers are trained in de-escalation and are working closely with local partners to ensure peaceful and powerful actions nationwide.
