No Hands But Yours (NHBY)- Making Lunches

Our Nativity Marriage Enrichment Ministry is partnering with No Hands But Yours (NHBY) during the Diocesan Week of Service, and we invite married couples to join us for an evening of fellowship, generosity, and service to those in need.
As married couples, we are called not only to love and serve one another within our homes but also to extend Christ's love to our neighbors. What a beautiful opportunity to serve together, share in fellowship, and put our faith into action!
Together, we will prepare sandwiches and assemble 50–60 meal bags for individuals experiencing hunger and hardship in our community. Each bag will contain a sandwich (peanut butter and jelly, turkey and cheese, ham and cheese, or bologna and cheese), along with snacks such as chips, cookies, bananas, and/or hard-boiled eggs.
On Wednesday, November 11, volunteers with No Hands But Yours will help distribute the prepared meals throughout Washington, DC, and Northern Virginia.
How Can You Help?
We invite couples to sign up to bring supplies, including bread, sandwich meats, cheese, peanut butter, jelly, chips, cookies, bananas, bottled water, sandwich bags, or hard-boiled eggs. Whether you contribute supplies, help assemble meals, or simply share your time, every act of kindness makes a difference.
