NN Nature Tours – Estuary Trawler Trip

Join us for a memorable 3-hour educational tour of the local coastal marsh environment and tidal waters. Climb aboard a 43-foot trawler and travel through the marshes to learn about the sea animals, grasses, effects of tides, and seasonal impacts on the marsh. The trawler brings up a sample of the local species from the river for participants to view on deck. Educators from the UGA Science Center provide a wealth of information about the natural history, diversity, and ecological significance of animals collected during the trawl.

Check-in is at 8:45 a.m. at the UGA Aquarium. The boat will leave the dock at 9 a.m. and return at noon.

Cost for this event is $68 per person plus tax and Eventbrite fees.
