Pro wrestling returns to Western Springs. New Dawn Rising signals the next leg for NJPW TAMASHII, following the crowning of the first Tag Team Champions: The Pretty Boys. Now, TAMASHII carries that momentum into Western Springs; a rare and significant site in New Zealand wrestling history.
Only two major events have taken place here in the past 45 years. In 1979, Peter Maivia challenged Harley Race for the NWA Championship. In 2007, WWE’s Road to WrestleMania tour came through.
NJPW TAMASHII takes its place in that history at The Auckland Performing Arts Centre (TAPAC)
