Program presented by the North Jersey Highlands Historical Society. Join author Michael Gabriele for a powerpoint presentation all about colonial taverns. Taverns formed the social network that held the communities together by providing a meeting place for local government, political activities, business and social transactions. They were beacons for travelers and venues for entertainment. A selection of books will be available to purchase at the program.
This FREE program will take place at 1:30pm in the Coffee Shop next to Ringwood Manor and is open to all interested members of the public.
