CAPP presents a full-day hands-on course in nitrous oxide conscious sedation, led by Dr. Yasmin Kottait.
The programme provides theoretical and clinical instruction in nitrous oxide and oxygen analgesia in accordance with American Dental Association guidance. Topics include the pharmacology of nitrous oxide, patient evaluation and preparation, equipment function, monitoring and documentation, recognition of the phases of sedation, management of emergencies, and occupational safety.
