Nisqually NWR Birding Workshop with Canon

Join Glazer’s Camera and Canon representatives for a morning bird photography workshop at the gorgeous Billy Frank Jr. Nisqually National Wildlife Refuge. Over 250 species of birds live around or migrate through the refuge each year. Canon will provide a limited range of loaner gear for use and speak to the camera settings and techniques to best capture your images and video. The latest EOS R series cameras and RF lenses make wildlife photography easier than ever.

We’ll start early when the birds are typically most active and the light is low. Come prepared for a walk out on the Estuary Boardwalk (up to 4 miles round trip) that overlooks the wetlands which may be slick if it has rained recently.

Memory Card (Bring an extra SD card if you’d like to try one of Canon’s loaners)

YOUR INSTRUCTOR:

Kyle’s love for image making began over two decades ago while learning black and white film photography in high school. After graduating college with a fine arts degree with a concentration in photography, he began a wedding, portrait and event photography business while simultaneously working in the region’s camera stores.

After more than 13 years working in camera stores in Oregon and Washington, he joined Canon in 2019 as the northwest sales representative. Kyle loves teaching and sharing his passion for capturing memories and the gear used to create these images.

PRICING, FEES & REFUNDS
In the event of a refund, Eventbrite Fees are not refundable. Eventbrite fees are only refunded if an event is canceled.

We will issue a full refund up to 4 days before the event date; or a 50% refund up to the day of the event, if however we are able to fill the spot, we may issue a full refund. No-shows will not be refunded.

Refunds are unavailable post-event date.
