Trail work day in Nisene Marks SP! Join us!Why: feels great to be of service and give back to the park we all love! Covid safe.
Where: meet 9:30am at the Kiosk, coffee and baked goods will be available
When: 3rd Sunday of each month, 9:30am 2-4hrs
What to wear/bring: Wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty and comfortable shoes you can hike to work site in as well as work/garden gloves if you have them. Bring a bag lunch and water. State Parks will provide liability release and all tools needed.
What we do: Past work days have included installing and removing seasonal bridges, rebuilding wash outs, cutting trees that have fallen across the trail, removing ivy, and brushing back overgrown trails. Wide range of jobs to fit everyone!
High School Students can get community service credit. Bring forms to sign along with parent to sign liability waiver and Covid forms.
