This week at the Lake Harriet Bandshell we are hosting Niny Salem, a jazz group. A classic jazz quartet with voice, piano, bass, and drums. Our sound is inspired by the Great American songbook and legends like Ella Fitzgerald, Sarah Vaughn, Billie Holiday and many great jazz performers. The twist is you will hear some of these jazz standards sung in French, Spanish or Portuguese. For cancellations due to weather please check our Facebook page for updates.
Since 1892, Music in the Parks has provided residents and families opportunities to gather and enjoy local music throughout the summer. Since its inception thousands of free concerts have taken place. Concerts are weekly and vary from classic rock, hip hop, international, funk and many more genres of music.
