Come experience the magic of the World Heritage Listed Ningaloo coastline with us! Our Ningaloo Reef Adventure Escape is the perfect way to immerse yourself in the beauty of Ningaloo Reef. Sea Kayaking in sheltered turquoise lagoons, each afternoon pulling up in our kayaks at a deserted beach camp located within Cape Range National park, watching stunning west coast sunsets over the water, sleeping under the stars, exploring great inland gorges and river systems, taking in the beauty of red limestone cliff faces and being blown away by views across Yardi Creek and out to the Ningaloo Reef ... Truly spectacular! Turtles, rays, dugong, dolphins, reef sharks, myriad reef fish and an abundance of marine life make Ningaloo a brilliant place to kayak and snorkel. On land, also regularly seen are kangaroos, wallabies, emu, echidna and birds of prey. The sea kayaking takes place inside the fringing reef, where the lagoon is rarely more than 3m deep - perfect for spotting wildlife and snorkelling. We kayak along the coast at a relaxed pace, stopping on secluded beaches for morning tea and lunch as we go. We generally paddle the coastline from Osprey Bay and head north with the prevailing winds, finishing our days at one of the deserted wilderness beach camps, that we have all to ourselves. Each day provides fantastic snorkelling opportunities within sheltered turquoise lagoons where we land the kayaks on the beach and swim a short distance from shore. There are also some excellent βun-namedβ snorkel spots that are accessible only by kayak ... and we get to go there!
After packing up the kayaks, we explore the national park a little more on foot, providing the perfect way to see this ancient Australian landscape from a different perspective. Then it's time to spoil you - we're heading back to Exmouth to our resort accommodation where we'll stay as a group for the next two nights. The following day, we've factored in a leisure day so you can tick off that big bucket list adventure of swimming with the whale sharks if you like, or you spend this time relaxing by the pool, exploring town or taking another optional tour.
Our Ningaloo Reef Adventure Escape departs early in June, taking into consideration optimum viewing time for Whale Sharks and the abundant amount of marine life gracing the waters during this time of year. Not to mention warm sunny days and consistent weather conditions perfect for kayaking, snorkelling, camping, swimming and hiking.
Adventurous Women have conducted several tours to Ningaloo Reef over the past 12 years and as Western Australian based operator's, we know the area well. Having built strong relationships with local tour operators/suppliers, we can't wait to share this slice of ocean paradise with you once again!
