This annual event is put on by the Niles Merchants Association.
DJ Alex Reyes from DJ Alex Reyes Entertainment is proud to be the official announcer, DJ, sponsor & spokesman.
20,000 people line Niles Blvd, rocking 60+ floats, Mexican horses, Santa, giant balloons, old cars, sleds, antique tractors and fire engines, bikers, The Tap Dancing Christmas Trees, Snoopy and even 20 members of the 501st Legion of Stormtroopers (Star Wars).
Always the Friday after Thanksgiving, the “Train Of Lights” also lights up the Niles night – a decorated 14-car steam train, glowing in the dark, and rolling away with 500 passengers on a ride through Niles Canyon, a sight to see.
Stores and restaurants in the area will be open for business, and there will be a lot of dressed up characters and fun things to do for children.
