Disco pioneers CHIC and their legendary frontman Nile Rodgers are heading to Clifton Downs on Sunday 8th August 2027, with French DJ and producer Folamour opening the night.
Nile co-founded CHIC with bassist Bernard Edwards, and together they gave the world ‘Le Freak’, ‘Good Times’, ‘We Are Family’ and ‘I’m Coming Out’. Nile went on to produce ‘Let’s Dance’ for Bowie and ‘Like A Virgin’ for Madonna, and co-wrote ‘Get Lucky’ with Daft Punk. All in, his work has sold over 500 million albums worldwide.
With CHIC live, expect one huge celebration with songs the whole crowd knows every word to. As Rolling Stone put it, “the full scope of Nile Rodgers’ career is hard to fathom.”
