The Nile River Mountain bike Race is a 30km race through the trails and villages on the Western banks of the mighty white River Nile. It's a mass start and first man and first woman across the finish line wins.It’s however more than racing though; it’s a celebration of cycling, of having a good time on the bike and by having a good time on the bike you will support the bicycle projects of @Cycling out of Poverty - CooP-Africa. For the past 3 years, we’ve been trying to give a the best experience in this competion and this is Jinja's favorite cycling sport event. All the proceeds of the event will go to supporting students in Busoga to improve access to education with bicycles through (#Bike4School) project.
After the race, you will enjoy a variety of snacks, and drinks and prize giving of the mountain bike race and the kayak events held during the @Nile River Festival 2023 organised by @kayakthe Nile
Location: The event is part of the Nile River Festival 2023. Start and finish will be at @Adrift overland camp at Kalagala https://www.adrift.ug/
Entry fee: Non Ugandan citizen US$ 35 / UGX 130,000 with rental bike from Bikeventures Uganda: Bicycle Tours and Rentals).
Entry fee: Non Ugandans citizen US$ 20/ UGX 70,000
Entry fee: Locals /Ugandans UGX 80,000 with rental bike from Bikeventures Uganda: Bicycle Tours and Rentals).
