Over more than three decades, Magnum photographer Nikos Economopoulos has photographed communities across the Balkans and beyond, creating a body of work shaped by travel, cultural difference, and encounters with people. He will speak about instinct and ambiguity in photography, the importance of remaining open to the unexpected, and his search for images that move beyond description to suggest something less easily explained.
